Apple’s top executives, including John Giannandrea, Craig Federighi, and Eddy Cue, are spearheading a project aimed at enhancing the company’s artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. This project reportedly has an annual budget of around $1 billion,

as reported by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. Apple is actively working to catch up in the AI ecosystem, where many of its tech competitors, such as Microsoft, Meta, Google, and Amazon, have made

significant advancements, particularly following the launch of OpenAI’s ChatGPT last year. Apple’s plan involves incorporating AI not only into its voice assistant, Siri,

but also integrating it into its widely used iPhone operating system, iOS.
