China just sent a team of three astronauts to its Tiangong space station. They launched from a site called Jiuquan in northwest China. This team is special because they’re the youngest crew to ever go to the space station, with an average age of 38.
The three astronauts on this mission are Tang Hongbo,
Tang Shengjie, and Jiang Xinlin. They are all in their thirties and this is their first time going to space. The goal of this mission is to do various experiments and tests in space.
China has been very active in its space program recently. They want to achieve big goals, like
sending people to the moon by 2030 and even setting up a base on the moon. This is part of their “space dream.”
Under President Xi Jinping’s leadership, China has invested a lot of money in its space program to catch up with countries like the United States and Russia. They’ve been sending astronauts into
space, launching spacecraft, and building their own space station, Tiangong.
This latest mission
is just one step in their ambitious plan to explore and conquer space. They are determined to achieve their goals and make history in space exploration.
