Researchers at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras have created a new online platform to help start-up businesses. This platform was introduced by Amitabh Kant, an important official, and it’s designed to support start-ups by providing them with information about government funding opportunities. This platform contains details about over 100 programs from different government departments. So far, nearly 10,000 start-up

companies have benefited from these programs, which often involve a thorough review before receiving government support. Showcasing these government-backed start-ups also attracts private investors like angel investors and venture capitalists for additional funding. The platform gathers information from all these government programs to show how they collectively help start-up businesses.
