Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that his government has increased the money spent on sports by three times in the last nine years. He also mentioned that India is ready to host the 2036 Olympics.

He was speaking at the inauguration of the 37th National Games in Goa. The Prime Minister noted that Indian sports are doing really well right now. He said that they have changed the rules to give more financial support to athletes. He also emphasized that India has many talented sportspeople who

have become champions.

In addition to sports, the Prime Minister talked about some important actions his government has taken recently, including passing a law to give more opportunities to women in politics, a successful test for India’s Gaganyaan mission, launching new

reliance-jio-unveils-jiospacefiber-indias-first-satellite-based-giga-fiber-service/

trains, and helping Indian citizens who were stuck in Israel.

The National Games in Goa are taking place from October 26 to November 9, with more than 10,000 athletes from all over India competing in over 43 different

sports.
