Apple, the big American tech company, is seeing lots of people wanting their newest iPhones, the iPhone 15 series, launched in September. People are really into the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max because they’ve got cool cameras and more storage space.

Even though these fancier models are more expensive, folks are still buying them because they’re excited about the better features.


According to a report by Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), last month, around 71 percent of the display shipments for the iPhone 15 series were the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. That’s a big jump from the 65 percent from the month before. It shows that more people are picking the iPhone 15 series over the iPhone 14 series from last year.

The screens for Apple’s iPhones mainly come from Samsung Display in South Korea, and LG also seems to be making screens for the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook, said that the iPhone 15 series is doing really well in China, even though there were worries about losing customers to companies like Huawei. But Apple’s sales in China went down a little bit in the last quarter, so experts are keeping an eye on how they’ll do there.


As the holidays come closer, Apple’s CEO Tim Cook and CFO Luca Maestri talked about the company’s money outlook. They said that although there was a small drop in sales from China in the last quarter, when you think about foreign money exchange, they still saw growth.

Luca Maestri thinks that sales this quarter will be about the same as last year. But there have been some issues getting enough of the fancy new iPhones to meet the demand. Tim Cook talked about these supply chain challenges, even though Apple’s sales in the last quarter were better than what people expected. More iPhones were sold, and the money from services went up, which balanced out the lower sales of iPads and Macs.
