Hostel facility is not available for its students. The department of Training and Placements is one of the most vital and central departments of any engineering college. HMR Institute of Technology and Management has a separate Training and Placement cell managed by a dedicated team. The Training and Placement cell emphasis on academic excellence and students are rigorously trained in both theoretical and practical fields according to the industry norms. Without doubt, the students are amongst the finest budding engineers and will make a significant contribution to any organisation and society. The Institute has been awarded the National Employability award for the last three years for being amongst the top 10% Engineering Campuses in the state by Aspiring Minds on the basis of actual performance of students on a standardized test.

With immense pleasure we also wish to announce that the placements for 2016 passed out batch have also been quite remarkable like 2015 passed out batch. This year also practically most of the eligible students are placed and the recruitment drives are still going on and many companies are still in the pipeline . Right from the inception of the B.Tech course, the students are given an opportunity to think and grow globally. They are educated on soft skills and life skills. The training and placement cell conducts programs which helps the students to become more professional and highly competent in their performance.

The placement office functions with facilities for PPT, written test, group discussions, mock placement tests and interviews. It plays a key role in career counselling and guiding of students of the College for their successful career placement.This includes advising the students on placement procedures, directing them on resume preparation,giving training in group discussions, interviews and written tests. This office also co-ordinates the various activities related to institute-industry interactions.
